Italy: perception of degree of discrimination against transsexuals 2011

This chart shows the public perception of the degree of discrimination encountered by transsexuals among the Italian population in 2011, sorted by age group. According to this statistic, only 7 percent of Italians aged between 18 and 74 thought that transsexual people were not discriminated against. Young Italians aged 18-34 expressed the greatest concern: four in ten respondents belonging to this age group believed that transsexuals were strongly subject to discrimination.
