Export volumes of PGI wine in Italy 2014-2018

This statistic illustrates the export volumes of Italian wines with a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) certification in Italy between 2014 and 2018. Between 2014 and 2017, the amount of certified wine exported grew, although a decrease was registrered as of 2018. In fact, the export volumes of Italian PGI wines from Italy passed from roughly 6.3 million hectoliters in 2014 to more than 6.8 million hectoliters as of 2017. In 2018, 5.2 million hectoliters were exported.
