Brazil: grain crops yield 2019-2020, by type

In the crop year 2019/2020, rice was the grain crop with the highest yield in Brazil, at nearly 6.3 metric tons of grain per hectare planted. Production of rice in the country was forecasted to reach more than 10.5 million tons that crop year. Soybean, which was the grain with the largest planted area, was expected to yield 3.32 tons per hectare that year.
