Italy: distribution of translations in Italy 1990-2009 by original language

This statistic shows the distribution of works in translation published in Italy ins elected years between 1990 and 2009, by original language. According to the study, English works consistently accounted for more of 60 percent of total translations during the selected period, while the offer of translations from the Spanish increased from 2.4 percent to four percent. Translations from other languages (especially Asian ones) also increased to almost five percent of the total published translations.
