Opinion on journalists' independence from external pressure in France 2021
The same share of French respondents, that is to say 29 percent, believed journalists to be independent of pressure from political parties and the government as well as monetary corruption in 2021. That same year, roughly 60 percent of French people claimed that journalists were not independent from external pressure.
