According to the survey results, the most trusted journalist in Russia in 2019 was Vladimir Solovyov, who 23 percent of the respondents named as a reporter whose presentations tended to follow. Solovyev is the anchor of the show "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin." on the national television channel Russia-1. The second most trusted journalist was Andrey Malakhov who had a long career at Channel One but switched to Russia-1 in 2017.

The participants were asked to name five Russian journalists, publicists, observers, or socio-political shows anchors working on the radio, television, in press, or on the internet, whose presentations they tended to follow. The respondents submitted the names themselves.
