The legumes and tubers planted area in Chile during the 2018/19 crop year amounted to approximately 55.31 thousand hectares, an increase of 0.3 percent from 55.1 thousand hectares recorded during the previous crop year. Between 2015 and 2019, planting of legumes and tubers in Chile peaked in the 2016/17 crop year, with 68.2 thousand hectares of area planted.
