In fiscal year 2022, India produced approximately 33 thousand metric tons of niger seeds. This was a decrease of over nine thousand metric tons compared to the production volume of the previous fiscal year. During fiscal year 2022, the south Asian nation produced over 38 million metric tons of oilseeds.
