* The flows of Spanish direct investment abroad constitute the set of Spanish investments made abroad through which the Spanish investor intends to obtain management control of a foreign company (investment of 10% or more of the shares confer the right of vote in a society). Home This statistic shows the gross productive investment flows, that is, without discounting the liquidations of investments or divestments, and including only the operations of type NO ETVE (productive).

The ETVE type transactions consist of investments made by entities holding foreign securities (ETVE). They are instrumental societies whose existence obeys to strategies of fiscal optimization within the same business group. This type of investment has purely fiscal purposes, so it is often also referred to as non-productive investment.
