Copper export value in Chile 2012-2021
Copper exports from Chile amounted to approximately 50.7 billion U.S dollars in 2021, an increase of more than 52 percent in comparison to the previous year. This result was mostly driven by a growth in copper market prices that year. Meanwhile, Chile's copper production recorded a slight year-over-year decrease, estimated at 5.6 million tons in 2021.
