Brazil: number of violent deaths of LGBT+ people 2021, by weapon used
In 2021, cold weapons, such as knives and scissors, were the most common weapon used in violent deaths of LGBT+ people in Brazil. Out of the 300 violent deaths reported in the country that year, 85 were victims of this type of weapon. Meanwhile, another 73 deaths reported were caused by firearms.
