Brazil: car theft or break-in rate 2013-2018

The rate of auto thefts and break-ins registered in Brazil has been decreasing lately. In 2018, approximately 487 out of every 100,000 vehicles in the South American country were either stolen or broken into, down from an average of nearly 568 cars per 100,000 vehicles observed a year earlier.

Likewise, the robbery rate among financial institutions in Brazil has dropped recently.
