Share of cell phone theft victims in Brazil 2020

Cell phone theft is becoming an ever more frequent occurrence in Brazil. According to a survey conducted in the country, 50 percent of Brazilian respondents said they had had a mobile phone stolen as of June 2020. This represents an increase of eleven percentage points in comparison to 2017, when 39 percent of respondents in the country had been victims of cell phone theft.
