Coop, which saw an increase of 20 sales points in 2017, increased its shop floor area by over 30,000 square meters that year. This is twice as much as runner-up Jumbo, which saw a growth of roughly 14,000 square meters in 2017. At the other end of the spectrum, Emté's shop floor area decreased by nearly 3,000 square meters in 2017.
