This statistic presents the results of a survey conducted in February 2018 about hanami party plans among people in Japan. As of February 2018, about 48.1 percent of Japanese male respondents between 20 and 29 years claimed to be going to a hanami party. The largest share among Japanese female respondents with plans to attend a cherry blossom viewing party reached the 30 to 39 age group with around 54.3 percent.
