Visitor numbers to theme park Walibi Holland in the Netherlands 2011-2018 Walibi Holland is a theme park situated in Biddinghuizen, the Netherlands. It changed its name and identity regularly throughout the years, but it started in 1971 as a small children’s park called Flevohof. It continued to grow from Walibi Flevo, Six Flags Holland, Walibi World to Walibi Holland and it is currently known as a theme park for families and teenagers. As of 2018, the visitor volume of Walibi amounted to approximately 840,000, a slight decrease compared to the previous year. The highest number of visitors was registered in 2016 with 895,000 visitors. Concerning the ticket prices, individuals had to pay 33,50 euros. The most expensive theme park in the Netherlands was the Efteling, with 38 euros at the ticket counter and 36 euros online.
Efteling attracted most visitors

Even though being the theme park with the highest ticket prices, the Efteling attracted the largest number of visitors (646033), at over five million in 2018. It was the second time in a row that the Efteling surpassed the five million visitor volume, a goal set by the park for their 2020 vision. Other well-visited theme parks Duinrell and Slagharen attracted roughly 1.4 and one million visitors in 2017, respectively.

Zaanse Schans leading attraction among internationals

Examining the top 10 attractions with the most international visitors, The Efteling was the eight most visited attraction by international tourists and the only theme park in the list. Zaanse Schans, well-known for its historical windmills and houses, had nearly two million international visitors and led the top ten ranking.
