Forestry & paper companies worldwide based on number of employees 2021
As of December 31, 2021, the United States-based International Paper had approximately 32,800 employees worldwide. This made International Paper the world's largest employer of any forestry and paper company. This was followed by Suzano and Oji Holdings, which employed roughly 37,000 and 36,000 people, respectively.
