Over the past few years, Menards’ retail sales have been gradually increasing, with a difference of almost three billion U.S. dollars between 2017 and 2022. In 2022, they amounted to about 13.38 billion U.S. dollars.

Menards is a home improvement and DIY retailer based in the United States, which sells a selection of merchandise, tools, materials and supplies for all renovation needs. When it comes to online retail, around 18 percent of U.S. shoppers said that they like the brand, and just over 10 percent shared that they are likely to return to the Menards online store. In comparison to its competitors, Menards ranked sixth with brand awareness at 53 percent.

In terms of retail sales, Menards generated approximately 13.4 million U.S. dollars in all of 2022. However, the brand remained below competitors such as The Home Depot, Lowe’s Companies, and Ace Hardware. During the same period, The Home Depot earned nearly 146 billion U.S. dollars in retail sales. The total amount of retail sales made by building material, garden equipment, and supplies dealers in 2022 reached over 500 billion U.S. dollars.

Company revenues from non-retailing operating segments are removed unless otherwise noted; system-wide sales are provided when the operation is a franchise. The rankings eliminate fuel sales at locations designated as having a gasoline/fueling station as its primary business.
