Italy: olive oil purchase channels 2018, by spending range

This statistic illustrates the results of a survey on the main purchase channels for olive oil among Italian consumers as of June 2018, broken down by spending range. According to data, about eight in ten low spenders (78 percent) usually purchased olive oil in supermarkets, hypermarkets and large scale retailers. By contrast, 76 percent of high spenders usually bought olive oil directly from the producer or online.
