Licenses issued by sports federations in France 2020, by gender
Many sports disciplines now have their federations, each with its membership. In 2020, French sports federations issued more than 15 million licenses. Moreover, male members represented a majority, with nearly ten million licenses issued. Meanwhile, the number of female sports licenses amounted to approximately six million in the same year.
