Share of French people practicing an outdoor activity 2020, by type of sport
The most practiced outdoor activities by the French in 2020 was hiking and biking. Indeed, nearly 60 percent of them declared to have practiced cycling or hiking at least once during the last three years. The sports that require the most expertise such as sailing, diving or climbing were the least practiced with less than ten percent of participants.
