Number of foreign workers in Japan 2022, by country of origin
Around 462 thousand foreign workers from Vietnam were registered in Japan as of October 2022. Vietnamese workers therefore constituted the largest group among the increasing number of foreign workers in the country. Chinese workers came in second with a total of roughly 386 thousand people.
