Solid biomass consumption per inhabitant in the European Union 2018, by country

Finland has the highest per capita consumption of solid biomass energy in the European Union. Roughly 1.61 tonnes of oil equivalent were consumed by every inhabitant in 2018. By comparison, despite Germany being the leading consumer of total solid biomass energy, when broken down by number of inhabitants, per capita consumption was only 0.15 tonnes of oil equivalent.
