Prostate cancer was the most common type of cancer for new diagnosed patients in Brazil in 2020, with more than 97 thousand new cases reported. Breast cancer ranked second, with almost 88.5 thousand new cases. In 2019, the usage rate of mammography systems in the South American country added up to four percent.
