This statistic shows the distribution of commercial vehicles according to the European emission standards in the Italian city of Naples in 2017 Only five percent of commercial vehicles in Naples belonged to the group of Euro 6 vehicles, whereas one in four vehicles were classified as Euro 0, the most polluting class of vehicles.

*The European emission standards define emission limits for vehicles. The most stringent one, the Euro 6 standards, were introduced for light vehicles in September 2014. Since 2015, all newly introduced models in Europe had to comply with them. By contrast, Euro 0 vehicles are not subject to any emission requirements and are the most polluting category.
