This statistic shows the distribution of platforms used in development by companies in the gaming industry in Finland in 2017 to 2018 and 2019 to 2020. During the period under survey, the most popular platforms used by the game industry were mobile platforms Android and iOS, amounting to 75 percent and 71 percent in 2020, respectively. An increasing number of developers used Nintendo as a gaming platform, with 23 percent of companies using it in 2020.
