Q&Me in 2022, Co.opmart was the leading supermarket chains in Vietnam with 128 outlet stores, followed by WinMart with 123 outlet stores. Co.opmart is a Vietnamese retail supermarket chain under Ho Chi Minh City Union of Trade Cooperatives (Saigon Co.op).

Co.opmart is currently the company with the most supermarkets in Vietnam, with more than 128 supermarkets and hypermarkets (including Co.opXtra and Co.opXtraplus) nationwide. In addition, they also own and operate Co.opFood convenience stores, Co.opSmile modern grocery stores and 24-hour convenience store Cheers. Saigon Co.op was also the leading retailer in terms of retail revenue with 2.81 billion U.S. dollars in 2018.

Established by VinCommerce, a subsidiary of Vietnam's largest conglomerate VinGroup, supermarket chain VinMart has been under the management of the FMCG corporation Masan Group since 2020. Masan Group has been planning to rebrand this newly acquired supermarket chain in 2021 and to increase the number of outlets to over ten thousand by 2025. Apart from supermarkets, this subsidiary also owned the most convenience stores in Vietnam as of 2021.
