Monthly PPI change by country 2024

Through 2022, the changes in the producer price index (PPI) were at a high rate across all regions, before falling through the last quarter of 2022 and the first months of 2023. In the Euro Area, the monthly change was over 40 percent in August 2022, but stood at minus 8.3 in February 2024. Meanwhile, China had a negative index rate of 2.7 percent the same month.

The Producer Price Index (PPI) measures the average change over time in the selling prices received by domestic producers for their output.
