Brazil: men with HIV 2018, by exposure category
In 2018, more than 5.7 thousand of HIV-positive men in Brazil were infected through homosexual exposure, while the number of patients infected through heterosexual exposure amounted to almost 3.8 thousand. Three HIV-positive men in the country were infected through blood transfusion.
