Share of cyber attacks on government Asia Pacific 2017-2018 by type
As of September 2018, around 34 percent of cyber attacks in the government sector across the Asia Pacific region were service-specific attacks. Service-specific attacks refer to attacks that are directed at services which seldom require authentication and run on a server, desktop or mobile device. This often enables the attacker to access an underlying operating system.
