Share of movie goers South Korea 2021, by age group
In 2020, around 78.7 percent of respondents aged between 13 and 19 years old stated that they had visited a movie theater within the previous year. This made them the age group most likely to go watch a movie. While attendance rates have declined across all age groups due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, younger age groups went to the theater more often than older age groups.
