Thailand: main reasons against buying wearable tech by age 2022

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight, older respondents stated that they did not see the need for a smartwatch or fitness tracker while younger respondents claimed that they were not into sports. In the same survey, less than half of the respondents in Thailand stated that they owned a smart wearable.

The survey was conducted among 4,658 female and 2,237 male respondents. Other surveyed countries included China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam.
