Out-of-home consumption of processed fish and seafood in the Benelux 2019, by country
Of the Benelux countries, Belgium was by far the largest out-of-home consumer of processed fish and seafood in 2019. The Belgian consumption was roughly twice as high as the out-of-home consumption of fish and seafood in the Netherlands and Luxembourg combined. That year, Belgian consumers ate approximately 11,000 tons of fish and seafood out-of-home.
