A 2018 survey across eight European countries revealed the extent to which people trust journalists to tell the truth. With fake news being encountered so frequently these days, it is an important issue for many. In Great Britain, almost a third of respondents said they didn't trust journalists to tell the truth at all, and only two percent trusted them a great deal. However, the results were different in Sweden, where over a third trusted journalists a fair amount or a great deal.
