Respondents fearing catching COVID-19 Singapore 2020

As of May 22, 2020, 67 percent of Singaporean respondents stated that they feared catching the infection COVID-19, caused by the novel coronavirus. This was an increase from 51 percent on February 21. On April 6, Singapore introduced strict measures to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, including making it compulsory to wear face masks when out in public. On June 1, the first phase of relaxing these measures had been implemented.
