Average spending for a single beauty product in Italy 2019

In a survey conducted in 2019, 67 percent of respondents declared to spend up to 15 euros for a single make-up product. More specifically, the average expenditure of 40 percent of women ranged between 11 and 15 euros, while for 27 percent of interviewees it amounted to up to ten euros. Eventually, only eight percent of women who took part in the survey stated to spend 26 to 50 euros to buy one beauty product.
Data about the factors influencing the purchase of make-up show that quality mostly determined the choice of the products among Italian women.
