According to the fifth version of the budget announced in December 2020 by the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG), 8.8 billion U.S. dollars were planned to be utilized for the venue-related budget of the 2020 Summer Olympics. In total, 15.4 billion U.S. dollars were estimated for the expenses.
