As of December 2021, the business survey index (BSI) among 600 leading companies in South Korea stood at 100.3 points, slightly down from 102.2 points in the previous month. In April 2020, the BSI index once dropped to 58.8 points during the first wave of COVID-19 infections after which it started to recover.
