Distribution of COVID-19 cases South Korea 2020, by gender

As of October 16, 2020, around 53.5 percent of the nearly seventeen thousand confirmed coronavirus (COVID-19) patients in South Korea were female. Additionally, people in their twenties accounted for the largest share in the total infection cases. South Korea confirmed 25,035 cases of infection including 441 deaths. After the first wave lasted till April, new cases have grown recently including the related cases to one clubgoer in Seoul and other cluster cases in warehouses of Coupang or MarketKurly. Imported cases from outside Korea also remains around half of the new daily cases.
