In 2019, 57 percent of French people ate fruits between 3 and 7 times a week, and 61 percent had vegetables at the same frequency.
Regarding the selection process, 68 percent of French families view seasonability as one of the most important criteria when purchasing fruits and vegetables, followed by origin and freshness.
