In 2019, the Italian Cycling Federation estimated to spend over 11.6 million euros in sporting activities. These costs included the organization of national and international events as well as activities as promotion, training, documentation, and research. Moreover, the Federation estimated to spend about 5.6 million euros in management and general costs in 2019.
