Leading health insurers India 2019 by GWP share

In financial year 2019, the public sector insurance company, New India Assurance led the health insurance segment in India with a gross weighted premium share of over 18 percent. This was followed by the private insurer Bajaj at around five percent. The industry gross weighted premium that year amounted to nearly 455 billion Indian rupees.
