According to a report published by hypeauditor.com, 46.24 percent of micro influencers in Malaysia have been experiencing growth anomalies. It is most likely that some users have been buying followers or have been followed by bots, fake or stolen accounts. In total, there were around 11 million Instagram users in Malaysia as of January 2020.
