Quarterly number of inbound tourist arrivals in Italy 2019-2020, by continent

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the number of international tourist arrivals in Italy decreased sharply in the third quarter of 2020 compared to the same period of 2019. Between July and September 2019, Italy recorded roughly 22.5 million arrivals of EU tourists. In the third quarter of 2020, this figure dropped to 12.8 million.
