Peru: number of debtors 2014-2019
In 2019, more than seven million Peruvians owned a debt, up from 6.03 debtors reported in 2014. This figure has been constantly increasing since 2014, when the number of deposit accounts added up to 42.65 million. In 2018, financial credits in Peru made up more than 42 percent of the country's GDP.
