The highest sales volume of physical copies of video games in Russia was recorded during the first week of 2020, reaching 120.5 thousand with a continuous decline during the year and a drop by approximately 97 thousand during the 13th week. A slight increase was attributed to the quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic during week 17, when the sales volume reached 24.8 thousand copies.
