Egypt: monthly average prices for wood 2019-2020

As of August 2020, the monthly average price for wood in Egypt amounted to 9010, 5100 and 4000 Egyptian pounds per cubic meter (572.89, 324.28, 254.33 U.S. dollars) for Beech, Sweden and Blank wood, respectively. Furthermore, it is evident that both Swedish wood and Blank wood followed the same overall declining trend. The mean price of Swedish and Blank wood shrank by approximately 4.35 and 4.6 percent in September 2019, respectively. Prices for Beech wood, on the other hand, had minor increases of approximately 3.5 and 0.11 percent in February 2019 and May 2020, respectively.
