The year 2021 marked an increase in annual average temperature compared to the long-term mean from 1961 to 1990 in all regions of Russia. In the summer, the highest positive deviations were recorded in the Central and Volga Federal Districts, at 3.42 and 3.33 degrees Celsius, respectively. The Siberian Federal District saw the lowest increase in average summer temperature.
