Mobile money registered accounts in Rwanda 2012-2022
The number of mobile money registered accounts in Rwanda was close to 16.3 million as of June 2022, a rise of approximately six percent from December 2022. Since 2012, the number of subscribers has followed an upgoing trend, increasing hugely from 1.44 million subscribers in that year. The only drop was registered in 2017, when the number of accounts fell by roughly 6.8 percent in comparison to the previous year.
