During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, a worldwide survey was conducted between July and August 2020 to determine if hotel guests would prefer to use contactless options during their stay. The results indicated that a large majority of respondents, 73 percent, would prefer to use an app to open the door of their room.
